Crashing Forward represents the unseen blessings in the storms we face. The very things that feel like they’re breaking us are often the forces clearing the way forward—urging us back to who we really are. For me, it was a return to art, to creating, to expressing truth through painting while dealing with the overwhelm of the challenges and changes I had to make in my life as I knew it, to be able to properly care form my mother in her final years.
